Write To Fight: If I'm Honest

 Sometimes I wake up and feel like the world is being too aggressive. I usually pop out of bed and feel pretty alright. I used to talk to this girl that would see me smile in the morning and think, "Why are you smiling? Who are you thinking about?!" This kind of attitude from someone you're talking to can really drag you down. Day after day, I slowly stopped being a morning person, avoided interaction, and eventually started expecting this attitude every time I saw her. Then I started thinking, "Screw it," I Put the smile back on my face and walked away. If I'm Honest represents precisely how I felt during this time of my life and how I felt after.

I've been walking on these eggshells

But they're solid

Never cracking under pressure

When you were trying to have a race

But I set my own pace

Called me a menace and friend
